In later messages from the same October 2023 conversation, Jane wrote, “Our experiences are desensitizing sex for me,” and that she didn’t want to be mistreated, according to testimony in court.

“I don’t feel like performing loveless cold sex,” she wrote.

Jane was frustrated because she felt like Combs treated her differently than he treated others, she testified. “I had to earn just basic things from my relationship like love and respect and romance, but I felt like he was giving it to everyone else,” she said.

“I’m not a porn star. I’m not an animal. I need a break I don’t want to do anything I’ve hit a wall,” she wrote in the messages. She testified the request for a break referred to “not wanting to give my body to anybody else at all.”

“I’ll only make love to you,” Combs responded in the messages.

Jane wrote back that she’s had to have sex with “strangers” for three years. “I’m tired,” she wrote.

“So we’re breaking up” Combs wrote.

Jane testified that she had not suggested they break up in any of her messages in that conversation, but had only told him she wanted to stop participating in the “hotel nights” —sexual encounters that included a male “entertainer.”

The conversation continued into October 16, 2023. Combs wrote to Jane: “Let’s spend the day just me and you no strangers please. It’s my only day off.”

Jane responded: “It’s loveless for me and nothing satisfies you and you always push me to do more and more.”

Combs said: “Let me make love to you, it’s filled with love.”

“Spend the day with your family or your ex, I need time to myself,” Jane responded.

Jane testified that it didn’t matter how good a night was. “He always wanted me to do more and more,” she said.
