KATHMANDU , July 27: The National Assembly is meeting at 1:15 pm today at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor. The agenda of the meeting is to take a decision on a clause-wise discussion on the ‘Tourism Bill, 2081.’
Similarly, five parliamentary committees including the Finance Committee, Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee, Education, Health and Information Technology Committee, Public Accounts Committee and the State Directive Principles, Policies and Responsibilities Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Committee, are meeting today.
The Finance Committee meeting will discuss issues related to the National Natural Resources and Fiscal Commission while the Agriculture, Cooperative, and Natural Resources Committee has an agenda to discuss amendments proposed in the ‘Bill designed to amend certain Nepal Acts relating to Land, 2082’.

The Education, Health and Information Technology Committee is to interact with experts on the ‘Media Council Bill, 2080’ and the Public Accounts Committee meeting will discuss the 61st and 62nd Annual Reports of the Auditor General.
The State Directive Principles, Policies, and Responsibilities Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Committee will discuss the current schedule of the construction of the Federal Parliament Building under construction at Singha Durbar and the line ministry’s preparations to ensure implementation of that schedule.
