Chelsea have rejected an offer of £45m from West Ham for Andrey Santos according to journalist Vene Casagrande.
The Blues signed Santos from Brazilian side Vasco da Gama for a fee in the region of £13m, back in January 2023, but the youngster didn’t make his debut until this summer’s Club World Cup.

Santos excelled on loan at Strasbourg last season, and scored ten goals as the Ligue 1 outfit qualified for the Conference League.
The Brazilian has attracted interest from a number of clubs this summer, but Chelsea have always insisted Santos isn’t for sale.
It’ been reported Santos will play a key role in the squad this season, and despite the competition in midfield he’s expected to get plenty of opportunities.

Bayern Munich were interested, whilst Inter Milan were said to have enquired about Santos, however Casagrande has revealed a Premier League club made an offer.

He took to X.com and said:
“Chelsea rejected a £45 million offer from West Ham for Andrey Santos.
“The “Blues” manager contacted West Ham’s board to inform them that the Brazilian player will not leave the team and advised them to abandon the pursuit.”
Santos could make his Premier League debut against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, and he’s highly rated by Chelsea.
Whilst Santos is set to play a key role for Chelsea for many years to come, another midfielder, Chukwuemeka is on his way out of Stamford Bridge.

Chukwuemeka has made it clear he wants to return to Borussia Dortmund, but the Blues have made it clear he won’t be leaving on loan.
Chelsea are said to want offers close to the £40m release clause, and it remains to be seen if Dortmund can get close to that, with the Bundesliga club Chukwuemeka’s preferred destination.
