A funeral will be held Monday for a New York City man who was shot and killed in Puerto Rico.
Authorities said 25-year-old Kevin Mares, of Queens, was caught in the crossfire of a shooting while on vacation to see a Bad Bunny concert.
Visitation services were held over the weekend at Frederick Funeral Home in Flushing, Queens.
Police in Puerto Rico charged 37-year-old Kalel Jorell Martinez Bristol with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting. He is being held on $800,000 bond.

Mares was visiting the island with his girlfriend and two others to see Bad Bunny’s residency. After the concert, they went to a nightclub in the seaside neighborhood of La Perla.
Mares was shot during the early morning hours of Aug. 10.
Police said there was an argument outside the club, and a man pulled out a gun and started firing.
Two people were shot, and Mares was hit in the stomach with a stray bullet. He did not survive his injuries.
Loved ones mourn Kevin Mares
Friends and family poured into the funeral home Saturday to remember Mares. They described him as kind-hearted and loyal.
He loved cooking, growing vegetables and had a passion for animals. He was studying to be a veterinarian.
One mourner said he was also planning to propose to his girlfriend this fall.
“It’s very sad that people, some people come to this world to hurt others. He doesn’t even imagine what he has caused to our family,” said Lilian Saenz-Mares.
