Steve W.: The last four years, Chargers would have turned the ball over on that 3rd and 14, Mahomes would have run a two-minute drill and the Chiefs win 28-27. Instead, Herbert delivers in the biggest moment.
Josh M.: For the second offseason in a row, the Chiefs talked about being more explosive while trotting out the same boring, Mahomes-please-save-us, Matt Nagy nonsense. And can we please get some adult-sized receivers?
Carol J.: Indeed, the Chiefs, were essentially a sloppy, undisciplined mess. Dropped passes, blown routes, overthrown deep passes, stupid unnecessary penalties, lack of focus, no defensive pass coverage allowing Herbert a field day. These Chiefs resembled the team that played like a deer in headlights in the last Super Bowl.
Dillon M.: Regarding the Chiefs, I know they were without their top two WRs but it’s amazing how much they’ve allowed that roster to decay around Mahomes over the last couple of seasons. Their defense looks bad outside of McDuffie and Chris Jones and the offensive skill players aren’t very good anyway.
