Hot and humid today then T-Storms on Wednesday

Hot and humid this afternoon in the Twin Cities with hazy sunshine, southwest winds at 5 to 15 mph and highs near 90 degrees with dew point temperatures in the upper 60s producing heat index values in the low 90s. Isolated T-Storms will be possible near the Twin Cities between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. but most of the storms will stay well west and north of the Twin Cities this afternoon. Clear to partly cloudy and muggy tonight with patchy fog and lows in the upper 60s with light winds.

Wednesday starts with patchy fog and partly cloudy skies along with muggy conditions and temperatures quickly warming into the low to mid 80s by 2 p.m. Wednesday. T-Storms will approach the Twin Cities from the south after 3 p.m. Wednesday and move into the Twin Cities as scattered storms 3 p.m. through 10 p.m. Some of the storms between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. could produce heavy downpours, hail and gusty winds. Spotty showers and T-Storms Wednesday night into Thursday morning with patchy fog and lows in the mid 60s.

Thursday through Sunday: Mainly cloudy Thursday with peeks of sun and scattered showers and T-Storms in the afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Mostly cloudy Friday with scattered showers and T-Storms and highs in the low 70s. Cloudy Saturday with scattered showers and highs around 70 degrees. Sunday the better weather day of the weekend with some patchy fog in the morning then sunny to partly cloudy with an Isolated T-Storm possible but mainly dry with highs in the mid to upper 70s.
