The Las Vegas Raiders will take part in their second preseason contest on Saturday afternoon when they host the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium.

While the Raiders did play their starters last week, it was rookie quarterback Cam Miller who stole the show with his impressive performance.
Miller entered the game with the Raiders trailing 23-13 and led the team on a pair of scoring drives, one of which saw him connect on a 41-yard bomb to wide receiver Shedrick Jackson.
Miller nearly led the Raiders on a game-winning drive at the end of regulation, but kicker Daniel Carlson’s field goal attempt was blocked.
In all, Miller completed 6-of-7 passes for 76 yards and one touchdown, and he looked far more poised than you would expect a rookie to in his NFL debut.

He was so good that Raiders fans are already calling for him to replace Aidan O’Connell as the QB2 behind Geno Smith.

So, will we get another look at Miller in preseason Week 2?
Yes, Miller is expected to play for the Raiders this week. Head coach Pete Carroll has said the starters will play, so we’d expect a similar approach to last week when it comes to snaps for the quarterbacks.
Geno Smith will start the game, Aidan O’Connell will come in after that and get the majority of reps, and then Miller should get a look at some point in the second half.

Hopefully, we’ll see Miller earlier than we did last week, and for more snaps.
