Kelly Clarkson has ditched her long locks for a short bob.

The “Breakaway” singer showed of her new hairdo in a July 22 clip shared by “The Voice,” which highlighted how she, Adam Levine and John Legend will be coaches for Season 29 of the singing competition.

So far, Clarkson has won the show four times, Levine three times and Legend once, per NBC Insider.

“This time, we got some tricks up our sleeve. Ya’ll get ready!” she said in the clip while wearing a white shirt and a pair of black slacks.

Online, people said they were feeling Clarkson’s new look.

“Wait I wasn’t ready. KC lookin’ fiiine. 😮‍💨,” one person commented on the video.

Another took to X and said, “Shorter hair looks good on her.”

A third added, “Strongest look i saw today was that kelly cut.”

TODAY’s Jenna Bush Hager, who underwent her own hair transformation when she got a bob on live TV last month, tells TODAY.com how she feels about Clarkson jumping on the trend.

“Kelly Clarkson got a bob? Kelly, call me! We’re in the bob club,” she exclaims.

According to NBC Insider, Season 29 of the singing competition will have the official title of “The Voice: Battle of Champions” and will feature a new format.

For the first time ever, the show will only have three coaches. There will also be new challenges and voting rules, like the Super Steal, which allows coaches to steal an artist from one another if they get the most three-chair turns during the blind auditions.

During the knockouts, each coach will bring back two artists from their former teams to compete in head-to-head sing-offs. The coach who wins the most sing-offs is guaranteed a second artist in the finale.

Then, in the semi-finals and finale, super fans and past “The Voice” alums will get the chance to vote for their favorite singers in real time as they will be watching the series in person.

Not to mention, former “The Voice” coach CeeLo Green will return to judge the In-Season All-Star Competition.

Season 29 is set to premiere in spring 2026.
