Puerto
Rico resort converts to Marriott. La Concha Resort in San Juan, Puerto Rico, has transitioned
to Marriott’s Autograph Collection, the first in the country. The 238-key
resort recently completed an $80.2 million property-wide renovation. Marriott
has 330 Autograph Collection hotels in more than 50 countries and territories.
Millennium
rebrands in NYC. London-based
Millennium Hotels and Resorts has rebranded the 569-key Millennium Downtown New
York as M Social Hotel New York Downtown. Following renovations, the hotel will
debut this summer.
Capella
debuting in Europe. Singapore-based Capella Hotels and Resorts will grow in Europe with the opening of 89-key
Capella Florence in Italy in 2027. The Capella Florence will be an adaptive
reuse of the historic Via San Gallo, which dates back to the 12th
century and has served as convent and a military hospitality.
Beaumier expands French resort. Challes-les-Eaux, France-based Beaumier announced that Les Roches Rouges on the Saint-Raphaël coastline on the French Riviera is undergoing renovations that will add 25 sea-side rooms Mediterranean gardens, and elevated outdoor spaces to the property.
New Ritz
in Bangkok. Thailand-based
Asset World Corp. has begun construction of 168-key The Ritz-Carlton Bangkok,
The Riverside in Thailand. The hotel, which is scheduled to open in 2028, would
be the second Ritz-Carlton in the city.
Accor adds in UK. Lucknam Park Hotel and Spa is set to become the
first U.K. property to join Accor’s Emblems Collection, its new luxury brand.
The hotel near Bath will undergo renovations and will join the collection in
late 2025.
