Motorcycle crash on New Bern Avenue in Raleigh blocks traffic :: WRAL.com

Sky 5 on Tuesday flew over the scene at New Bern Avenue in Raleigh of a crash possibly between a motorcycle and dump truck.

Before 8:30 a.m., Raleigh police blocked off the intersection of Farris Court and New Bern Avenue.

Raleigh police officers were directing traffic onto Clarendon Crescent as a detour. 

Video shows that a motorcycle crashed sideways on the grass near the road. A dump truck can be seen parked a few feet away from the impacted motorcycle.

WRAL News is working to find out if there were any injuries and how the crash happened.
