Asked Reddit user where they found the image

After spending the last 40 minutes looking over Walmart’s website for anything related to the Switch 2 restock, I’ve posted in the Reddit thread asking where they found the image. If it’s legitimate, I’m sure they’ll get back to me with a link. If it’s not, I probably won’t hear anything.

Walmart restock at 7pm

While browsing Reddit, I came across a post claiming that Walmart will restock Nintendo Switch 2 consoles at 7 p.m. ET in the U.S.

The problem is that I couldn’t find any information on Walmart’s website regarding the restock, so I’m unsure if this is legitimate or if it’s a Reddit user who created the image to prank people.

I’ll keep digging to see if I can find something directly from Walmart, but it’s something to keep an eye on in case it is real.

A US stock sweep

I’ve checked, double-checked and triple-checked every major U.S. retailer to see if any Switch 2 consoles slipped through the cracks.

Sadly, there’s nothing out there. Every retailer is out of stock. IF you want to check for yourself, here are the links to the different U.S. retailers.

Any rumored US restocks?

I’ve been scouring the Nintendo Switch 2 restock feeds on X to see if there are any reliable rumors of upcoming restocks. I checked with @Jake_Randall, as he provided us with some reliable restock information before it happened, but unfortunately, he didn’t have anything new to report.

From there, I went to the reliable @LeBlorstOfTimes, but they also don’t appear to have any hints about when we could expect to see more Switch 2 consoles hit store shelves in the United States.

The popular X account @Switch2Stock had a similar lack of new information to report.

It looks like things really are all quiet on Switch 2 restocks in the U.S., and we’ll just have to wait to hear something from Nintendo.

UK no problem!

Getting a Switch 2 in the U.K. on Amazon is still easy!

No luck for Switch 2 stock in the US (yet)

It’s been a while since we’ve seen any Switch 2 restocks in the U.S., and after another sweep, there’s still no stock. We caught word that there may be more units available at Walmart later this week, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled on its listing pages (as we will be!).

With the amount of Switch 2 consoles available in the U.K., there’s sure to be more available for U.S. gamers down the line. We’ll keep track of retailers, but it’s worth checking each one below just in case there’s a few surprise restocks!

Switch 2 stock still strong at Amazon UK

Yet another spot where you can grab a Switch 2 is at Amazon UK itself, but don’t expect any Prime Day deals on this one (it’s only just launched, after all, and as we all know, it hasn’t exactly been easy to get).

Interestingly, the Mario Kart World bundle is now priced at £527. That’s nearly £100 more than what it should be, so stay away from that price at all costs. The £429 Mario Kart bundle is now available at multiple retailers around the U.K. (including Argos), so stick with that if you’re looking to grab Nintendo’s big launch game for the Switch 2.

Otherwise, get the Nintendo Switch 2 for its more affordable price at Amazon right now.

We’re seeing a wave of Nintendo Switch 2 restocks arrive in the U.K. over the last week (the U.S. has yet to see such luck), but it’s been hard enough to swipe just the console, which is the most affordable way to grab Nintendo’s latest handheld.

That’s no longer the case, as the My Nintendo Store finally dropped some console-only Switch 2s. You’ll have to be a Nintendo member, and it’s limited to one per customer (as per usual), but now’s your chance to grab the Nintendo Switch 2 without any add-ons.

Of course, if you’re looking to get Mario Kart World for less, you’ll want to get that bundle. And it’s also available right now at the Nintendo store. Swipe one while you can!

Very UK has a bunch of Switch 2 bundles in stock

We usually see retailers offer a couple of Switch 2 bundles, but Very just dropped a load of Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundles with many extra games and useful accessories — along with the upcoming Donkey Kong Bananza included (releasing July 17).

They’re all up for pre-order to go out for delivery on July 17 or July 18, but you’ll also find the regular Nintendo Switch 2 with Mario Kart World up for grabs right now. There’s plenty on offer here, with some bundles including games and others offering the Switch 2 Pro Controller and Camera, along with a 256GB MicroSD card.

So, if you’re just looking for the base Switch 2 with Mario Kart World or want some extras to go along with it, you’ll want to nab one of these bundles. Get shopping!

  • Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World Bundle: $429 @ Very
  • Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World Bundle + Donkey Kong Bananza: £496 @ Very
  • Nintendo Switch 2 + Donkey Kong Bananza + Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom: £525 @ Very
  • Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World Bundle + 256GB Samsung MicroSD Card: £479 @ Very
  • Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World Bundle + Street Fighter 6: £479 @ Very
  • Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World Bundle + Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom: £494 @ Very
  • Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World Bundle + Switch 2 Camera + Switch 2 Pro Controller: £555 @ Very
  • Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World Bundle + Switch 2 Pro Controller + 256GB SanDisk MicroSD Card: £553 @ Very

Overpriced bundles are still in stock in the US

A Walmart bundle selling the Nintendo Switch 2 alongside some controller skins

When I check stocks, I check for the reasonable stocks you should actually consider buying. If you absolutely must have the Switch 2, then you can buy one for a massively inflated price through a bundle.

For example, you can pick up this Switch 2 + Mario Kart World with a silicone controller skin for $689 at Walmart right now. It means you’re effectively paying $189 for a controller skin. Which is outrageous and something you should not buy.

Instead, keep an eye on this blog for the actual restocks worth your time and we’ll flag them up as soon as they’re available. The Switch 2 starts at $449 and $499 for the Mario Kart World bundle, so anything over this (without proper extra accessories that make up the added price) isn’t worth getting.

Argos continues to have Switch 2 stock in the UK

Good news for gamers across the pond as it looks like Argos continues to have stock of the Switch 2 in the U.K.

Checking this morning and I’m still able to add the Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle to my cart (they call it a trolley) at Argos.

Walmart may offer restocks this week

If there’s a glimmer of hope for Switch 2 stock, it could come from Walmart this week. Over the weekend, a report from the Shortcut suggested Walmart is “expected” to get more online Switch 2 stock this week.

When Walmart previously got Switch 2 stock, the retailer opened the first hour of trading to Walmart Plus customers only.

So if you want to steal a march on the rest of the competition, signing up for the service now may be a good idea because it’s currently 50% off.

Retailer sweep — no new restocks on Monday morning yet

It’s a new week and that brings with it the fresh hope of Switch 2 restocks at the biggest retailers. Unfortunately, I’ve just swept through the entire list and nowhere has any available stock of either the standalone Nintendo Switch or the Mario Kart World bundle.

Stay tuned to this blog though as we’ll keep checking regularly and will update it the second we get the news of any more availability. Here’s a full list of retailers in case you want to scan for yourself or sign up to get a reminder.

Amazon Prime Day incoming — but no Switch 2 stock yet

Switch 2 Amazon

Amazon is gearing up for the start of Amazon Prime Day this week and we’re tracking the best deals across Tom’s Guide. Unfortunately, that doesn’t extend to the Nintendo Switch 2.

As we start a new week, the console remains frustratingly out of stock at Amazon in the U.S. While you can buy accessories and games for the system, the Switch 2 itself isn’t yet available. It’s a slightly better story over in the U.K. however, as Amazon does currently have stock there.
