Onondaga Co. residents can sound off on new term legislation

Featured2 days ago5 Views

Onondaga County residents can provide today feedback on legislation that would ask voters to approve proposed term limits and longer terms for county lawmakers.

There will be a public hearing at 11:30 a.m. in the County Executive’s Conference Room at the Civic Center in Syracuse.

County legislators last week unanimously approved a proposal to ask voters to either approve or deny lengthening terms from two years to four, while limiting legislators to three consecutive terms.
