The Trump administration argues Abrego Garcia is an MS-13 gang member who’s suspected of human trafficking and has a violent historical past of abusing his spouse. On Friday, Trump launched a picture of Abrego Garcia’s hand exhibiting purported MS-13 gang tattoos. 

A 2022 Homeland Safety Investigations report recognized Garcia as a member of MS-13 and a suspected human trafficker.
