NASCAR podcast: Previewing the Coke Zero Sugar 400 race at Daytona
The guys break down race week at Daytona International Speedway. How does the NASCAR playoff picture look? Who needs to win the Coke Zero Sugar 400?
We’re down to one last race before the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs begin. What better place to settle things than Daytona International Speedway?
The Coke Zero Sugar 400 is the last chance for drivers to pick up a win and secure one of two open spaces in the 16-team playoffs. Tyler Reddick and Alex Bowman have those slots in the points standings entering the weekend at Daytona. Here’s hoping the rain stays away tonight.
Harrison Burton picked up his first career win and the corresponding playoff position by taking the checkered flag in overtime in the 2024 Daytona summer race. Chris Buescher, who won the 2023 Coke Zero 400, is right on the bubble, followed by Ryan Preece (who was in a nasty crash at the end of that race) and Kyle Busch.
