Former KLA soldier Lulzim Halili was arrested in Serbia on Tuesday. Serbian media close to the Vučić regime published several images of the arrest.
Although several hours have passed since the release of the footage, there has still been no official statement or confirmation from Serbia about his arrest.
“Danas” writes today that the institutions suspected of having arrested him, including the BIA, have not yet made any public statement about the arrest.
As reported by the “Novosti” media outlet, known for its proximity to the government in Serbia, former KLA soldier Lulzim Halili was arrested in a joint operation by the BIA, the War Crimes Investigation Service of the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs, and in cooperation with the War Crimes Prosecutor’s Office.
Based on unofficial information circulating in the media, it is said that a 48-hour detention order has been issued for Lulzim Halili and that he will appear before the competent prosecutor’s office with a criminal report.
